PT-141 Bremelanotide conflicts with the melanocortin-1 receptor which is located on melanocyte cells. it also does not bind well to any other receptors in the body. PT-141 Bremelanotide has a much shorter sequence of amino acids and is slightly different than Melanotan I or Melanotan II.
